WhatsApp Daily Updates – Opt-In Guide 📲

WhatsApp Daily Updates – Opt-In Guide 📲

🔍 What’s this about?

Our WhatsApp update service gives you automated updates straight from our live systems — including:

  • 📊 Pricebook releases (EDF, SP, BGB, E.ON, etc.)

  • 🎟️ Ticket updates (status changes, escalations, closures)

  • Contract status updates — when records are updated in our internal system

  • 🧰 Broker Tool lookups — allows you to send lookup data directly to WhatsApp (e.g. EAC/AQ checks)

It’s designed to reduce inbox noise and keep you informed automatically without admin or chasing.

How it works

  • Updates are sent in real time after 6:15 am and continue throughout the day.

  • Example: E.ON usually release new pricebooks between 7–8 am.

    • If you opt in before 7 am, you’ll receive that morning’s E.ON notification.

    • If you opt in later (e.g. 9 am), you’ll only receive updates from that point onward.

  • The system resets every morning at 6:00 am — no messages before then.

  • Opt-in is per mobile number — one number per broker account.

  • No spam, no repeats; you get what’s relevant, when it happens.

🧭 How to opt in

  1. Save our WhatsApp number: +44 7822 000915

  2. After 6:15 am, send any message — a “Hi 👋”, a thumbs up 👍, or even something rude if you must.

  3. Once you message, you’re in — no confirmation required.

  4. From that point onward, you’ll start receiving:

    • Pricebook updates

    • Ticket notifications

    • Contract status alerts

    • Lookup results (if using the Broker Tool)

No forms, no approval queue — just message once and you’re in.

🔕 How to pause or stop updates

  • You will automatically be opted out at 6:00 am each morning.

  • On days you want peace and quiet, simply don’t opt in — you’ll receive no messages.

🧠 Why you should opt in

  • See live supplier and contract updates as they happen.

  • Stop missing pricebooks, ticket replies, or contract status changes.

  • Keep everything in one place — WhatsApp.

⚠️ Common mistakes

  • ❌ Messaging before 6:15 am — you’ll miss that day’s feed.

  • ❌ Expecting us to manually add you — you must send the first message yourself.

  • ❌ Using a group or landline — WhatsApp messaging will only work with the mobile number we have registered for you
